Even if criminal penalties are applied to copyright infringers, the damages caused by copyright infringement do not disappear. In order to compensate for the damages, it is necessary to pursue civil liability such as a claim for damages.
Non-monetary solutions include requests for injunctive relief and restoration of reputation.
These are methods that are settled out of court and are time-consuming and expensive.
So, before going to court, there are ways to be considered.
